Going back to the whales, they come from of Alaska and the Bering Sea where they begin their migration, they start swimming south at the beginning of October, arriving in mid-December the coast of Baja California. The maximum concentration of whales is reached in January. The weather is a little cold for locals but for us it is great. I’ve seen lots of people buying houses in the area and spending our winter in their “summer houses”( of course with a lot higher maintenance cost), but, they always take some time for whale watching.
